Location: 7167 E. Kemper Rd, Cincinnati, OH

Hours: Monday - Friday - 8:30 AM - 5:30 PM

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Enter prescriptions from intake to order completion and verify member/patient data
  • Contact patients, pharmacists, and doctor's offices as a liaison for the pharmacy team
  • Communicate clearly and concisely via phone and electronic methods to patients, physicians, and other healthcare providers
  • Contact patients to complete refill assessments, request payment information, establish delivery details, and set up treatment in the Ambulatory Infusion Suite and/or other outpatient facilities
  • Access, input, and retrieve prescriptions and medical/lab information from computer system
  • Verify whether medication is reimbursable, and resolve rejected claims
  • Process prescription refills and interpret supply needs as related to various therapies
  • Resolve customer issues, ensuring accurate information is provided
  • Able to multitask and channel communication from various business partners, driving patient centric quality care
  • Follow all State and Federal regulations and Pharmacy Policies and Procedures, adhering to HIPAA and confidentiality code of ethics

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED
  • Intermediate level of proficiency with Windows PC applications including the ability to navigate and learn new and complex computer system applications
  • Ability to stand, walk, and lift 30 lbs.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification (PTCB)
  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician license in the state of Ohio
  • Previous Home Infusion experience
  • Pharmacy/prescription data entry experience

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
