Job description

Carlson EyeCare Centers is a growing multi-office optometry practice based in East Tennessee. Our philosophy is simple: We provide premium quality eye care services, promote healthy and sustainable lifestyles, and contribute to our local community. We work with our business partner, LensCrafters, to fill our patients’ eyewear needs.

We are seeking new full time employees to join our team. We are currently hiring an Optometric Technician/Receptionist at our Johnson City, TN location. On the job training is provided!

What You Will Do:

  • Scheduling eye exams
  • Answering phones
  • Checking patients in/out
  • Insurance verification,
  • Preliminary testing
  • Obtaining medical history
  • Teaching first time contact lens wearers insertion and removal of lenses
  • Other patient care tasks

We are currently open seven days a week. Some weekends are REQUIRED and are rotated between techs. Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 9:10 am-6:30 pm; Sunday 12:30-4.
