This role is perfect for an experienced medical receptionist or ophthalmic technician looking to expand their skills in both front desk and patient coordination.
Higher starting pay considered for candidates with ophthalmology/optometry experience.
Some Saturdays will be required.
At least one year of medical office experience preferred, but willing to train.
Key Responsibilites:
- Greet and check in patients with warmth and professionalism
- Answer phones and assist patients with scheduling and questions
- Verify insurance and collect payments accurately
- Keep patient records accurate and organized
- Support the clinical team by preparing charts and relaying information
- Adhere to HIPAA and patient confidentiality regulations
