A Telemedicine Optometrist typically conducts virtual patient consultations, reviews digital eye images and test results, diagnoses vision issues, and prescribes corrective lenses or treatment plans through secure telehealth platforms. They often coordinate with technicians or medical assistants who assist patients during remote exams, and collaborate with ophthalmologists or primary care providers for comprehensive care or referrals.
