Job Description
Job Summary:
A Micro Electronic Optical Technician specializes in the hand assembly of electronic devices using soldering, epoxy, and bonding techniques. Assemble intricate opto-mechanical assemblies and sub-assemblies with precision tools and fixtures. Performs online go-no-go testing and inspection using magnifying devices, measurement instruments, and electric test to ensure parts and assemblies meet production specifications and standards.
Detailed Description:
Assembling units to specifications including mechanical assembly, mounted printed circuit boards and other drawings.
  • Fabricate, build and modify equipment and subassemblies working from assembly drawings, schematics, wire prints, and work instructions.
  • Position, align and adjust parts for proper fit and assembly.
  • Inspect and adjust completed units to ensure the units meet specifications, assembly drawings and customer requirements.
  • Follow, maintain, and uphold all Company Operating Procedures, Quality instructions and associated policies.
  • Troubleshoot and diagnose problems with electronic optical systems.
  • Document maintenance and repair activities in accordance with established procedure.
  • Able to work in fast paced environment

Requirements:
Requires a high school diploma and some degree of vocational or technical training; 0-2 years of directly related experience.
