Description
We are accepting applications for a full-time Clerk (37.5 hours per week) at Steuben County Community Services in Hornell, Corning, and Bath.
This position will enjoy great benefits including generous paid time off, paid holidays, and the option to enroll in our retirement plan with employer contributions.
Your daily routine as the Clerk will consist of answering phones and transferring calls, welcoming visitors, checking clients in for appointments, typing, filing, and maintaining a coordinated stream of paperwork.

In this position, you must always maintain strict confidentiality. You must have excellent time management and communication skills to be able to successfully and cooperatively interact with coworkers, community partners, and the public,
As a Clerk on this team, you will need experience with common office equipment and skills in typing/word processing, with proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel. The ability to prioritize multiple tasks, coordinate scheduling and be responsible for various needs in the office setting is required.
An Associate Degree in Office Management/Administration or a related field is preferred for this position. A high school diploma or equivalent with at least one year of relevant experience is required.
