Description:

Sullivan Tire, an employee-owned company, is currently seeking a Territory Sales Representative in Bangor, ME. This exciting opportunity provides the chance to travel throughout scenic northern Maine selling commercial tires and products from business to business. The Territory Sales Representative manages the assigned territory to ensure optimal sales performance and profitability while delivering the highest quality of service and customer satisfaction to grow business and increase sales. The role works closely with management to increase profitability through improved efficiency and productivity levels. Adheres to internal controls, policies, and procedures.


Responsibilities: 

  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding established objectives in the areas of sales, units, profitability, and customer satisfaction for assigned territory. Utilizes all informational tools and software to maximize and maintain optimal productivity and workflow levels.
  • Deliver quality work on time, every time to the customers to ensure long-term growth in sales and profits.
  • Work with other departments (Retail Automotive, Distribution, Corporate, etc.) to grow business and increase sales for your assigned territory.
  • Responsible for submitting weekly call reports utilizing internal software applications.
  • Assumes other responsibilities as needed.
Requirements:

Education/Experience:

  • Minimum of high school diploma
  • 3-5 years of industry/commercial experience preferred. 
  • Valid Driver’s License.
  • Outside sales experience preferred. 

Skills/Knowledge

  •  Strong selling and customer service skills 
  •  Conflict resolution skills 
  • Solid understanding of commercial automotive industry 
  • Must be a self-starter and flexible enough to change directions when needed due to economic or market trends. 
  • Working knowledge of Madden Co, Top Dog, and Microsoft Suite, and our internal software applications. 
  • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment 
  • Strong time management skills
