Job description

JOB PURPOSE
The Associate Manager, Retail Media Performance- Target & Club, is responsible for end to end retail media strategy, activation, and performance optimization to drive Unilever Personal Care growth at Target. This role sits within the Personal Care Retail Marketing Team and partners closely with WPP Unite, Retail Media Networks, and cross functional stakeholders to deliver data driven, performance led outcomes across Unilever's retail media investment.
WHAT WILL YOUR MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES BE
Retail Marketing & Media Planning
Lead retail media and search strategy, execution, and ongoing optimization for Unilever personal care across Target & Club customers
Ensure strong stakeholder alignment across strategic planning, in flight optimization, and post campaign learning.
Develop and optimize retail media plans that drive incremental sales and category growth.
Performance, Optimization & ROI
Partner with analytics and agency teams to monitor performance signals, identify optimization opportunities, and dynamically shift investment to maximize in growth.
Lead competitive tracking and category performance analysis to inform optimization and future planning.
Cross Functional & Agency Leadership
Serve as the primary day to day partner to WPP Unite, providing clear direction, feedback, and strategic guidance across planning, activation, and reporting.
Collaborate closely with National Media, Retail Marketing, and Brand teams to ensure retailer plans are fully integrated into broader end to end initiatives.
Share retail media and marketing best practices, learnings, and playbooks across the organization to strengthen overall retail media capability.
Retailer Partnership & Platform Expertise
Build and maintain strong working relationships with Retail Media Networks to unlock platform capabilities and performance opportunities.
Translate retail specific insights, signals, and tools into actionable media strategies.
Reporting & Strategic Communication
Lead clear and concise performance reporting for brands and cross-functional stakeholders, translating complex data into actionable insights and recommendations.
Contribute to post campaign learning agendas, ensuring insights are embedded into future briefs, planning, and investment decisions.

Required Qualifications & Experience

Bachelor's degree
3 to 5 years of proven experience in retail marketing, media and search strategy, with direct Target/Roundel experience strongly preferred.
Demonstrated ability to manage media performance end to end, from planning through optimization and reporting, within a complex cross functional ecosystem.
Strong analytical and performance optimization skills, with comfort leveraging multiple data sources to inform real time decision making.
Strong collaborator with the ability to lead agency partners and influence cross functional teams

Pay: The pay range for this position is $88,600 to $133,000. Unilever takes into consideration a wide range of factors that are utilized in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, qualifications and education, and other business and organizational needs.

Bonus: This position is bonus eligible.
