This position offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 to $90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and caseload. • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations for new and existing clients to develop tailored therapy plans.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions for individuals, couples, families, and groups, supporting a wide range of mental health challenges.
• Employ diverse therapeutic techniques including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused short therapy.
• Work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, social workers, and case managers, to ensure coordinated care for clients.
• Maintain a thorough and accurate record of client progress and treatment plans in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.
• Engage in continuous professional development through workshops and training to stay updated on best practices and emerging trends in mental health.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Optimum Care Center, you will be working with a diverse client population, including individuals facing anxiety, depression, trauma, substance misuse, and interpersonal challenges. Many clients may have limited access to mental health resources, making your role crucial in bridging the gap to effective care and fostering positive mental health outcomes.

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
• Current and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of New Jersey.
• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience in a clinical environment.
• A strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building rapport with a diverse range of clients.
• Proficiency with electronic medical record (EMR) software and other related technologies.

• Experience working with families, couples, and in trauma-informed care is highly desirable.
• Specialization in treatment areas such as trauma, substance misuse, or grief counseling will be considered advantageous.
• A demonstrated ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
