Job description

Technology Governance & Optimization Senior Manager

Company:

The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Technology Governance & Optimization Senior Manager to join the team in North Charleston, SC; Everett, WA; Seattle, WA; Berkeley, MO; Plano, TX; Mesa, AZ; or Hazelwood, MO.

We are seeking a dynamic, people-focused Senior Manager to lead Application Governance & Technology Enablement across the Enterprise. This role combines strategic leadership and cross-functional engagement to operationalize and improve inventory and management of our application assets and technology standards within the overall Technology Governance lens. The ideal candidate has experience with governance frameworks, service now platform workflow management, risk controls, architecture, and communication with executive stakeholders.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Lead end-to-end development and delivery of the enterprise application inventory: capability delivery, governance operating model, policies, standards, roadmaps, and metrics

  • Lead the design, implementation, and continuous improvement of technology governance frameworks for APM.

  • Implement governance processes across ServiceNow modules; enforcing configuration standards and lifecycle controls

  • Establish and run APM practices: application inventory, rationalization, lifecycle status, technical debt tracking, and alignment to business capability heatmaps

  • Define KPIs, dashboards, and regular reporting for platform health, compliance, risk, and portfolio value (cost, risk, usage)

  • Partner with ServiceNow platform engineering, develop operations, security, architecture, finance, and PMO to enforce platform guardrails and change control.

  • Manage stakeholder communications, executive briefings, and roadmap prioritization for governance initiatives

  • Ensure compliance with data governance, privacy, and regulatory requirements as they apply to ServiceNow and APM data

BasicQualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

  • 10+ years' experience in an IT leadership role with exposure to IT Governance, IT Operations, IT Service Management, and/or IT audit

  • 5+ years' experience with the ServiceNow platform

  • 5+ years' experience with IT asset management, software asset management, or related tooling (CMDB, SAM tools, discovery/endpoint management)

  • 5+ years' experience identifying use cases, defining KPIs and demonstrating business impact

  • 5+ years' experience using critical business and financial acumen in order to influence and shape process and/or strategy

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

  • Bachelor's, Master's or Ph.D. in Computer Science, Information Management, Information Security, Data Science, Engineering, or related field

  • Experience with developing and managing governance frameworks

  • Experience leveraging AI technologies for governance and ML Ops
