Supply Base Management Specialist
Company:

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is looking for an Engine Management Support Operations Specialist (Level 3 or Level 4) to join our Widebody Delivery Center team in Everett, Washington.
Boeing is seeking an Engine Management Operations Specialist to support engine configuration accuracy and delivery execution across all Boeing widebody production and aircraft delivery programs. This position collaborates with Final Assembly and Delivery (FA&D), Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, Operations and Customer Teams to ensure engines are correctly built, installed, tested, and documented for on-time, compliant aircraft delivery. The position works directly with Engine OEM teams to provide technical oversight, data-driven insights, and cross functional coordination to maintain propulsion systems integrity, and ensure rapid resolution of emergent issues throughout the manufacturing lifecycle.
Position Responsibilities
  • Work directly with team, organizational, and program level operations leaders to support installation readiness and resolve build/installation discrepancies that could impact production flow or delivery milestones
  • Ensure accurate engine configuration records (build packages, modification status, LLPs, serialized-part traceability, and Airworthiness Directives) to maintain regulatory compliance
  • Serve as propulsion SME for Preflight & Delivery (PF&D) (engine runs, flight ops, compliance and borescope inspections) to resolve issues before FAA/customer acceptance
  • Provide technical support for engine nonconformances, discrepancies, and build issues to Liaison/Propulsion Engineering teams
  • Collaborate with OEMs and suppliers to address quality concerns, part shortages, and technical inquiries; review performance data and escalate production-impacting issues
  • Lead resolution of customer issues (including comfort/commitment letters) and pursue cost recovery for production impacts causing disruptions or delivery delays
  • Support production rate increases by identifying constraints, evaluating OEM/supplier support plans, and recommending process improvements
  • Lead root-cause investigations for installation, test, configuration anomalies, and conformity inspections; coordinate corrective actions with Quality, Engineering, and OEM partners

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
Basic Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in engine operations, propulsion systems, manufacturing support, or related aerospace/aviation fields
  • 5+ years of experience interpreting technical drawings, build records, service manuals, and configuration documents
  • 3+ years of experience working with gas turbine engine systems, assembly processes, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • 3+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • 3+ years of experience working with project management practices and how they can be applied
  • Must be willing and able to travel domestically up to 5%

Preferred Qualifications
  • Level 4: 8+ years of experience in engine operations, propulsion systems, manufacturing support, or related aerospace/aviation fields
  • 8+ years of experience interpreting technical drawings, build records, service manuals, and configuration documents
  • 5+ years of experience working with gas turbine engine systems, assembly processes, and regulatory compliance requirements
  • 5+ years of experience working with senior leaders/executives to communicate strategic plans and objectives
  • 5+ years of experience working with project management practices and how they can be applied
  • Bachelor's Degree or Advanced Degree
  • Pilot license or A&P certification
  • 5+ years of experience in an aircraft production or final assembly environment
  • 5+ years of experience with Boeing systems (CMES, REDARS, PDM, Velocity and configuration management tools)
  • Understanding of FAA/EASA type certification, conformity, airworthiness release process and delivery documentation requirements
  • Experience coordinating with engine OEMs (GE, CFM, Pratt & Whitney, Rolls-Royce)

Summary Pay Range:
Level 3: $106,250 - $143,750
Level 4: $130,050 - $175,950
