Position Title:Geospatial Data Analyst

Business Unit:Retail

Reports to:Retail Channel Optimization Manager

Position Overview:

An impactful position that leverages geospatial, internal, and external data to support retail channel optimization strategy and branch distribution. The position gathers and extracts data from various sources and transforms it to provide actionable insights for retail and support requests from other departments. Data and insights this position provides are extensively utilized by senior leadership for decision making around branch distribution strategy.

Primary Responsibilities:

Data Analytics: Performs advanced geospatial and data analytics utilizing the Esri platform, SQL, Python, Excel and other analysis tools to drive decision making around retail operations and optimization.

Process Documentation: Build and maintain a process library for workflows and methodologies as it relates to Retail Channel data analysis and decision making. This person will be responsible for maintaining change control across RCO analytical processes.

Data Management and Integrity: Maintains accurate and up to date geospatial data for retail locations and ensures consistency across departments.

Data Visualization and Insight Tools: Continually provide improvement to data visualizations and information presentation. Build and maintain GIS tools and dashboards that can be used to understand and guide decision making of retail operations.

Education: Continued education and skill development in geographic information systems, data analysis, business strategy, and regulatory matters.

Support: Support requests from other departments within the bank.

Performs other related duties and projects as assigned.
