SEO and Content Optimization Manager at Boston Scientific, Maple Grove, MN.

Role Overview

This hybrid role leads on‑page SEO, content strategy, and emerging AI‑driven search optimization to drive brand visibility, engagement, and compliance.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute on‑page SEO strategies across global digital properties.
  • Conduct keyword research, content optimization, competitive benchmarking, and performance audits.
  • Collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams to ensure optimal site structure, internal linking, and technical health.
  • Experiment with AI‑powered search (ChatGPT, Copilot, Gemini) and implement AEO/GEO strategies.
  • Evaluate and scale generative AI content tools such as Aprimo SmartActions, OpenAI, Copilot.
  • Champion structured content, taxonomy, and modular frameworks for reuse, discovery, and localization.
  • Maintain dashboards and analytics to track keyword performance, SEO quality, and GenAI impact.
  • Translate complex technical concepts into accessible strategies for digital marketing teams.
  • Define and report on new SEO and GenAI initiatives along with related KPIs.
Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in SEO and content marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of technical SEO: site architecture, structured data/schema, hreflang, crawlability, Core Web Vitals, page speed, canonicalization.
  • Proficiency with SEO tools: Semrush, Ahrefs, Moz, Siteimprove, Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Google Analytics.
  • Experience working with developers and UX teams to implement and resolve SEO improvements.
  • Demonstrated success in supporting or leading content strategies within regulated industries and for global audiences.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in medtech, healthcare, or life sciences.
  • Familiarity with structured content, modular frameworks, or content modeling.
  • Understanding of data privacy laws such as GDPR, HIPAA, and their impact on SEO and content.
