Location: Henderson, CO

Job Type: Contract (1+ Year)

Work Schedule: Fully Onsite | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Job Summary

We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to support production through process improvements, tooling support, documentation, and continuous improvement initiatives. This position works closely with production, engineering, quality, and operations teams to resolve manufacturing issues and improve process efficiency.

  • Support production needs in real time through process, tooling, and documentation solutions across all areas of the business.
  • Drive safety, quality, and delivery improvements and projects.
  • Execute small to medium-sized projects.
  • Create and maintain accurate work instructions.
  • Act as a technical resource on the production floor.
Safety
  • Stop unsafe work immediately.
  • Report hazards and incidents immediately.

Process Ownership & Support
  • Serve as the first line of support for process-related issues.
  • Reduce recurring process issues.
  • Provide solutions or escalate issues within 24 hours.
  • Investigate root causes of production issues.
  • Support production and operations meetings.
Tooling & Equipment Support
  • Ensure tooling supports efficient and repeatable manufacturing processes.
  • Resolve or escalate tooling improvements within 48 hours.
  • Follow established change management processes and maintain required documentation.
  • Complete validation testing for new tools introduced on the production floor.
Project Execution
  • Independently execute assigned small to medium-sized projects with defined deliverables and timelines.
  • Complete projects on schedule.
  • Deliver measurable project outcomes.
  • Document project progress.
  • Utilize project management and problem-solving tools including Excel, Time Studies, Cross Functional Meetings, 5 Why, and Management of Change (MOC).
Continuous Improvement
  • Identify process improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement process improvements.
  • Validate implemented improvements.
  • Collaborate with Operations, Quality, and HSE teams.
Quality & Process Control
  • Ensure process changes are controlled and documented.
  • Support root cause analysis activities.
  • Update process documentation after changes.
  • Participate in structured problem-solving activities.
Communication & Cross-Functional Coordination
  • Communicate effectively across production, engineering, and support teams.
  • Provide clear project and action item updates during meetings and through email.
  • Coordinate cross-functional activities during projects and process changes.
  • Create and participate in meetings.
QualificationsRequired
  • High School Diploma.
  • Experience supporting production within a manufacturing environment.
  • Experience with technical troubleshooting and structured problem solving.
  • Experience creating and maintaining work instructions and process documentation.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work fully onsite in Henderson, CO.
Preferred
  • College degree in Engineering or a related field.
