Overview

The Women's Imaging Center, a Partner Practice of Together Women's Health, is seeking a full time Receptionist to join their growing team.

The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and committed to exceptional patient care service. This individual is comfortable managing multiple responsibilities, including patient intake, scheduling, insurance verification, and payment collection, while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of front desk operations.

Although this position is primarily based in Lakewood, candidates must be willing to travel to other locations (Cherry Creek, Westminster, and Highlands Ranch) as needed.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and assist patients with professionalism, warmth, and compassion
  • Manage patient check-in and check-out processes using the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
  • Accurately collect, verify, and update patient demographics and insurance information
  • Verify insurance eligibility and ensure patients are scheduled appropriately within network guidelines
  • Select correct insurance package and ensure in-network status  
  • Collect Card on file and Co-pay collection, in accordance with billing policies
  • Schedule, confirm, and coordinate patient appointments and follow-up visits
  • Answer incoming calls and assist patients with inquiries, scheduling, and general support
  • Prepare patient charts and ensure all required documentation is complete prior to appointments and refile charts
  • Ensure patients are scheduled correctly per insurance and within the correct timeframe 
  • Escort patients to clinical areas and provide basic exam preparation instructions
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and protect patient health information at all times following HIPAA guidelines
  • Follow all practice policies, procedures, billing guidelines, and other assigned duties
Qualifications
  • Minimum 2+ year of medical office or healthcare experience required
  • Prior Radiology Imaging center experience preferred
  • Previous patient care experience required
  • Proficiency with Electronic Health Record systems (Athena, Epic, MyChart, or similar) preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • High attention to detail with the ability to multitask
  • Dependable, punctual, and team-oriented
  • Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods throughout the workday
  • Associate's degree (preferred) or a certification from an accredited Medical Assistant or healthcare-related program will be considered
