The Role
  • Develop, edit, and maintain metrology programs/templates across CMMs, portable arms, and optical systems to drive consistency and efficiency.
  • Perform dimensional inspections using CMMs, portable arms, GOM/ATOS, and conventional tools to verify parts against CAD and engineering requirements.
  • Interpret and apply engineering documentation, including 2D drawings, 3D models, GD&T, and related specifications.
  • Support and prepare First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs) in accordance with internal and industry standards.
  • Review and validate supplier and subcontractor FAIRs and production inspection records when required.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet quality, throughput, and delivery targets.
  • Guide and mentor technicians on program execution, workflow standards, and proper equipment use/maintenance.
  • Clearly communicate non-conformances and inspection results to Manufacturing, Engineering, and leadership.
