Key Responsibilities

• Conduct in-depth assessments of patients to evaluate their physical capabilities and limitations, using evidence-based methods to formulate individualized treatment plans.
• Implement and adjust treatment regimens based on ongoing evaluations and patient feedback, ensuring alignment with their recovery goals.
• Educate patients and their families on physical therapy techniques, home exercise programs, and lifestyle adjustments to facilitate their recovery.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress in compliance with legal and professional standards.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team including healthcare providers, support staff, and referring physicians to coordinate a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives and promote health education workshops to foster awareness of physical therapy services in the Boca Grande area.
• Supervise and mentor support staff, including Physical Therapy Assistants, aiding in their professional development and ensuring effective patient care.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy is required.
• Active State License in Physical Therapy.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is mandatory.

• Proficient in using electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation and scheduling, ensuring streamlined operations.

Preferred Experience
