Position Overview

Conduent Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and skilled Full-Time Outpatient Physical Therapist (OPT) to join our team located in West McLean, Virginia. Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Conduent, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting thorough evaluations of patients to assess their physical abilities, limitations, and needs, thereby developing tailored treatment plans that drive patient progress.

  • Implementing therapeutic interventions and tracking patient outcomes to ensure effective progress toward recovery goals.

  • Providing expert consultation to healthcare providers regarding patients' treatment plans and continuum of care, ensuring all aspects of patient management enhance their rehabilitation journey.

  • Participating in staff meetings and ongoing professional development activities to stay current with best practices and emerging therapies in physical rehabilitation.

  • Engaging in community outreach initiatives and departmental leadership functions, including marketing, program development, and student supervision.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on outpatients, particularly those with orthopedic conditions requiring rehabilitative therapy. You will encounter a wide range of cases, from post-operative recovery to chronic pain management, all requiring a customized and compassionate approach. Qualifications

To excel in this position, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Active state license to practice Physical Therapy.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in word processing and electronic health records.
  • Commitment to ongoing education and professional development.
Preferred Experience
