Conduent Physical Therapy is seeking a dedicated and experienced Full-Time Physical Therapist to join our rehabilitation facility located in Charlottesville, Virginia. This full-time position requires you to work onsite at our state-of-the-art rehabilitation facility in Charlottesville, Virginia. Your typical work week consists of 40 hours, including potential variable weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Conduent Physical Therapy, you will undertake the following duties:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients with various functional limitations and disabilities to determine their specific therapeutic needs.
  • Develop and implement tailored treatment plans in consultation with patients and their families, ensuring that goals are attainable and measurable.
  • Provide ongoing assessment of patient progress during treatment, adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
  • Maintain clear, accurate documentation of all treatments administered, including evaluations, progress notes, and discharge plans according to applicable regulations.
  • Engage in interdisciplinary collaboration, working closely with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to coordinate patient care and updates.
  • Participate in marketing initiatives and community outreach activities to promote the facility’s services and engage with the community.
  • Supervise and mentor PTA/aide/students as required, fostering a supportive learning environment.
  • Remain current on best practices in physical therapy by attending ongoing education courses and contributing to knowledge-sharing sessions.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our rehabilitation facility serves a diverse patient population with varying needs, including orthopedic injuries, post-operative recovery, neurological disorders, and chronic pain conditions. As a Physical Therapist, you'll engage with patients of all ages and cultural backgrounds, ensuring that each individual receives personalized and culturally competent care.

Qualifications

To succeed in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy is required.
  • Current state licensure to practice physical therapy in Virginia.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, along with proficiency in basic word processing and electronic health record systems.
Preferred Experience

While not mandatory, the following experience is preferred:

  • A minimum of 2 years’ experience as a licensed Physical Therapist in a clinical setting.
  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) systems and occupational health.
  • Knowledge or certification in specialized therapeutic techniques.
Compensation and Benefits
