  • Job Summary 
    In this role Physical Security Officers (PSO’s) can expect to be working in demanding and fast paced environments. PSO’s may find themselves working in a wide range of areas to include medical centers, government facilities, hospitality venues and public events. The PSOs mission is to protect all people, information and property assigned, while delivering on high end customer service. PSOs represent the front line of our security services.
  • Job Duties / Essential Functions
    • Delivering high end customer service
    • Responding to emergencies
    • Deterring and preventing crime
    • Performing ingress/ egress control procedures
    • Investigating incidents
    • Completing daily logs and incident reports
    • Conducting regular walking or vehicle patrols
    • Building and Maintaining a professional rapport with clients, guests and co-workers
    • De-escalating conflicts
    • Detaining suspects
    • Monitoring CCTV cameras
    • Performing other related duties as assigned
  • Skills / Qualifications
    • Yellow SORA (current)
    • 21 years of age
    • Current and valid DL
    • High school diploma or GED
    • Excellent written and oral communication skills
    • Proficient time management skills
    • Reliable transportation
    • Excellent de-escalation skills
    • Must be able to pass a comprehensive background investigation, urinalysis screening and OPS training requirements
  • Appearance:
    • Officers shall maintain their hair in a neat, clean, and combed professional appearance
    • Beards and mustaches must be clean and neatly trimmed. 
    • Officer’s fingernails shall not extend more that ¼ inch from the tip of the finger or
      interfere in any ways in the performance of duty or with the safe drawing of issued
      equipment. Fingernail polish is allowed if it does not distract from the uniform.
