Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) to join our dynamic team at the Clinton County Community Therapy Center. This role is vital in providing quality mental health services remotely, making a genuine difference in the lives of individuals and families facing mental health challenges. As a full-time team member, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work while contributing to our mission of delivering personalized and affordable mental health care.

About the Organization

The Clinton County Community Therapy Center is committed to bridging the gap between mental and physical healthcare, ensuring a holistic approach to wellness. Located in Bloomington, Illinois, our community health clinic is at the forefront of promoting mental health awareness and access to therapy. Our mission is to enhance the lives of our clients by providing trusted, evidence-based therapeutic services. As one of the fastest-growing behavioral health practice groups in the country, we prioritize a collaborative team environment and are dedicated to maintaining high standards of clinical excellence.

Work Environment

This is a remote opportunity, providing you the flexibility to structure your work environment in a way that best suits your personal and professional needs. While most of your duties can be performed from home, you will also have access to a supportive team culture that emphasizes communication and teamwork. We foster a work-life balance by offering flexible schedules, with full-time positions that mainly operate Monday to Friday during standard business hours.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups.
  • Employ a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy tailored to client needs.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, social workers, and psychiatrists to ensure comprehensive client care.
  • Maintain accurate, confidential, and current clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development by attending workshops and training sessions to stay updated on best practices in mental health.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our diverse client base presents a range of mental health challenges including anxiety, depression, trauma, substance use disorders, and relational issues. As an LCPC, you will provide supportive therapy that acknowledges individual experiences and cultural contexts, enabling clients to navigate their mental health journeys effectively. You will deliver care that emphasizes a strengths-based approach, fostering resilience and empowering clients towards recovery.

Qualifications
  • Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Current and unrestricted licensure as a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Illinois.
  • A minimum of two years of counseling experience, preferably in a clinical setting.
  • Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards related to counseling.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the ability to establish rapport with clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Specialization in areas such as family therapy, couples therapy, trauma recovery, or dual diagnosis is highly preferred.
  • Familiarity with telehealth technologies and virtual therapy platforms.
  • Previous experience working in a community health setting is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $110,000 per year, along with a performance-based bonus structure. Additional benefits include a sign-on bonus, flexible work schedules, and the potential for unlimited earning potential based on client caseload. We also provide access to comprehensive healthcare benefits, retirement plans, and opportunities for continued education and professional growth.

Career Growth Opportunities

At the Clinton County Community Therapy Center, we are committed to the professional development of our staff. In addition to ongoing training, we offer mentorship programs and paths for advancement in various roles within the organization, allowing counselors to grow into leadership positions, specialized practices, or even training and supervisory roles.

Why Join Our Team

When you become a part of our team, you are joining a community that prioritizes quality care, collaboration, and respect. We are passionate about making a difference, and as a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to impact the lives of individuals and families across Bloomington and its surrounding areas. We value work-life balance and understand the importance of self-care in the helping professions.
