Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectic Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and solution-focused short therapy, adjusting techniques as necessary for diverse client populations.
• Facilitate group therapy sessions, family counseling, and one-on-one sessions, ensuring a cozy and supportive atmosphere for clients to engage in their healing journeys.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams consisting of medical professionals, social workers, and administrative staff to ensure a comprehensive approach to patient care.
• Maintain meticulous electronic clinical records that align with legal, ethical, and regulatory standards while securing patient confidentiality.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through workshops and training to stay current on mental health developments and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our practice serves a diverse array of individuals, including children, adolescents, adults, and families facing mental health challenges. We provide tailored support for conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. Understanding the unique circumstances of each client allows our counselors to deliver effective and impactful treatment strategies.

Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work, or a related field.
• Possession of an active and unrestricted LCPC license in the state of Illinois.
• At least two years of professional counseling experience, ideally in a clinical or therapeutic environment.
• A solid grasp of ethical and legal standards pertaining to mental health counseling.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, enabling the establishment of trusting relationships with clients.

Preferred Experience

• Specialization in areas such as family therapy, trauma-informed care, or couples therapy is highly desirable.
• Background in substance misuse counseling and peer support is an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this full-time role ranges from USD 70,000 to USD 110,000 annually, complemented by a competitive bonus structure reflecting your contribution to the team's success.
