Job Summary
Operate cheese HCV's and pasteurizers while maintaining high degrees of safety and quality levels.
Essential Functions
  • Effectively perform in this key role in the Cheese Plant and maintain quality and throughput standards
  • Utilizes GPS processes, driving zero losses, and upholds the culture of Glanbia non-negotiables.
  • Maintain records and paperwork accurately
  • Take samples in a timely manner
  • Communicate regularly with shift supervisor and lead person
  • Ensure cheese quality meets customer specifications
  • Follow recipes and schedule to ensure customer needs are met
  • Stay current with SOPs as equipment and process change
  • Each employee shall comply with occupational safety and health standards and all rules, regulations, and orders issued pursuant to the Occupational Safety and Health Act which are applicable to his/her own actions and conduct.
  • Complies with all applicable food safety regulations and mandates (Safe Quality Foods, Food and Drug Admin, Pasteurized Milk Ordinance)
  • Perform other duties as assigned
