Job Overview We are seeking an Operations Manager to lead and oversee our outbound department. The role is critical to ensure outbound operations run efficiently, accurately, and on time. Key Responsibilities Operational Leadership: oversee day‐to‐day outbound operations, develop and monitor SOPs, drive KPI tracking, and ensure shipment accuracy and on‐time delivery. Process Improvement: identify bottlenecks, implement continuous improvement strategies, and partner with cross‐functional teams. Team Building & People Management: lead, mentor, and develop supervisors and associates; manage workforce planning, scheduling, training, and performance; promote safety. Problem Solving & Flow Management: monitor real‐time flow, resolve disruptions, analyze trends, and collaborate with carriers to optimize scheduling. Safety & Compliance: maintain a safety culture and ensure adherence to OSHA and company policies. Qualifications Required 5+ years as an Operations Manager in a distribution, fulfillment, or warehouse environment. Experience leading process improvement in a large‐scale facility (350,000+ sq. ft. preferred). Strong team building, analytical, and problem‐solving skills with real‐time operational flow management. Proficiency with WMS and Microsoft Office/Google Suite. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or related field (equivalent experience considered). Experience managing high‐volume outbound operations with carrier management and load optimization.
