Job description

Operations Support Specialist

Diversified Maintenance is hiring an Operations Support Specialist. The Operations Support Specialist provides superior customer service to both our Internal and external clients while also ensuring efficient daily functions. Providing daily work order management support in addition to various types of timely managed attendance and work order reporting for all clients.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Provide superior customer service to Field Leadership and/or Clients
  • Effectively manage a large volume of emails daily; monitor/address general emails received within relation to assigned job duties in a timely fashion
  • Create, update and maintain spreadsheets and other documents utilizing Microsoft/G-Suite products (Sheets, Slides, etc.)
  • Complete reports in a timely manner including attendance; triage/work order escalations; client specific reporting; daily work order management; daily, weekly and monthly reporting w/in job duties
  • Data Entry into back office system (JD Enterprises)

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment
  • Minimum of one (1) year of professional-level experience utilizing Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets
  • Proficient computer skills to include Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), G-Suite products (Sheets, Docs, Slides)
  • Business level oral and written communication skills
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluently in English
  • Ability to multitask and adapt to changing environments
  • Excellent customer service skills; active listening skills
  • Attention to detail

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Bilingual; ability to speak, read, and write in Spanish, French, or other languages
  • Prior cleaning or janitorial experience
  • Familiarity with custodial practices and commercial cleaning standards
  • Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and waxing
  • Experience in industrial cleaning or facilities maintenance

  • Vacation time offered at an accrual rate of 3.08 hours biweekly. Unused vacation is only paid out where required by law.
