Job description

We are looking to hire a driven Operations and Strategy Manager to maximize our company’s operating capabilities. The ideal candidate should have experience tracking business results, performing cost-benefit analyses and monitoring KPIs. Candidates must have experience in the same or similar role, creating systems managing all business operations and setting goals across the entire organization, demonstrate great leadership skills, the ability to communicate the vision of the company across all levels and ensure that all business functions are in line with our strategic goals.


Responsibilities:

Operations

  • Work closely with internal and external stakeholders to create, implement and roll out plans for operational processes, internal infrastructures, reporting systems and company policies all designed to foster growth, profitably and efficiencies within the company

  • Support the implementation of work streams roles to ensure efficient implementation; ensure that deliverables are good quality and on time; ensure that business is on track.

  • Support the Head Operations and Strategy to establish and refine the operating rhythm of the business.

  • Performance Management - Lead the implementation of the company-wide business performance management process from the planning to the evaluation cycle. Coordinate and ensure timely completion of the quarterly  performance evaluation process.

  • Collaborate with management to review, edit, and refine internal processes and procedure maps; train and hold accountable all Unit team management/members to these internal processes.

  • Create opportunities for synergies across various business units to drive long term business growth sustainability.

  • Ensure the organization’s operations are compliant with appropriate regulations.


Monitoring & Reporting Metrics

  • Responsible for managing all operational metrics and generating reports on a monthly basis.

  • Collaborate with internal teams to identify relevant trends.

  • Designs and builds dashboards to present unit data in a clear and visually appealing manner.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement strategies for improving performance.

  • Monitors progress against action plans and adjusts strategies as needed to achieve goals.

  • Manage executive-level reporting, including weekly, monthly, quarterly status reports.

  • Build dashboards, develop and track key KPIs across the teams to track strategic goals, milestones and accomplishments.


Value Creation

  • Conduct thorough research on global and regional business developments to identify emerging trends, market opportunities, and potential risks.

  • Utilize research findings to inform strategic decision-making for business continuity and growth.

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement revenue realization strategies aligned with organizational goals.

  • Identify opportunities for value extraction from investors and strategic partners through effective negotiation, collaboration, and relationship management.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to the commercial team, offering strategic guidance and support in developing and rebaselining annual strategies (when required).

  • Provide expertise in analyzing market dynamics, competitive landscape, and customer insights to refine business strategies and goals.


Requirements

  • 6 - 8  years’ experience in strategy, business operations management or technology. Consulting experience is a must.

  • Must be a creative thinker, well organized, and results oriented with a verifiable track record.

  • Ability to work with and assist executives and all levels of management to help the company define and deliver global strategy and objectives.

  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and critical thinking skills.

  • Business analytics, , Strategy, M&A, upstream, etc. industry experience is a plus

  • Strong presentation skills, extensive experience writing proposals, experience planning and execution related projects, and demonstrated project management skills and experience.

  • Accountability and collaborative skills with a high degree of ethical standards and integrity.

  • Good people management and conflict resolution skills.

  • First degree or equivalent experience from a reputable institution.
