Walker Bowen Talent Partners has partnered with a scaling non-emergency medical transportation (NEMT) health tech company to support their growth as they continue to expand their services and partnerships across the US.

We're searching for their next US based Strategy & Operations Associate to drive various analytical initiatives across all business units and support strategic initiatives in a scaling and ambitious company.

Our Client

Our client is a technology and services company dedicated to reducing barriers to care by improving the delivery of non-emergency medical transportation to people across America. Our client employs proprietary technology, paired with a nationwide network of vetted transportation providers. This enables payers and health systems to deliver cost-effective, on-demand transportation intelligently, enhancing the patient experience in the process. They serve the largest Medicare Advantage, Medicaid, and provider programs in the country.

About the Role

As a linchpin of our dynamic team, you will drive the analytical initiatives within the Strategy & Operations team. You will lead projects across data analytics, business intelligence, project management, client management, and operational process improvement. Given the indispensable nature of this role within our client, we seek candidates capable of leading discussions, influencing teams across diverse functions, driving results, and having serious analytical horsepower. This role will give you the chance to work directly with the senior leadership team to support strategic initiatives and drive change in a fast-growing and ambitious business with a flat structure and a strong culture.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior executive leadership and all relevant department leads beyond Operations (Product, Engineering, Growth, Finance, etc.) to resolve pressing organizational queries and mitigate business risks through data-driven insights.
  • Lead data-centric projects, including contract analysis, internal data reviews for process improvement, and tackling other analytical and business challenges.
  • Collaborate with the Strategy Team to codify and document our internal operational strategies with a focus on data analysis and business intelligence.
  • Contribute to the creation of comprehensive organizational SOPs and other job aids.
  • Engage with cross-functional stakeholders to gather, refine, and implement operational change and improvement.
  • When necessary, collaborate with the BI team to enhance data quality ensuring the accuracy and effectiveness of our business intelligence insights.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

Required Experience


  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Economics, Business, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong proficiency with Excel modeling and the ability to work with data to extract actionable insights
  • 1+ years in management consulting (required) performing business operations, data analytics, or related field.
  • A love of problem-solving, leveraging both quantitative and qualitative analysis to craft innovative solutions
  • An inherent drive to find practical solutions, especially when faced with ambiguity.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to adapt messaging for both internal and external audiences.
  • Ability to excel in a fast-paced, growth-stage environment, showcasing creativity, adaptability, regulatory compliance, and sharp business acumen.
