Platinum Security is an expanding and highly reputable private security company that is looking to add an Operations Specialist to our team. Our office is very fast paced, with many activities going on simultaneously. We love what we do and go to great lengths to make ourselves available to our clients. We have offices in Los Angeles, San Diego, Sacramento, San Bernardino and Las Vegas.
Job Summary:
The Operations Specialist will be responsible for maintaining a large inventory of multiple technology components, ordering and issuing supplies, seeing to the maintenance and replacement of operational equipment, as well as acting as a liaison between vendors and upper management.
Responsibilities
• Manages a vast array of technology driven business platforms daily
• Sets up and distributes new equipment as needed
• Must possess strong written and verbal communication skills
• Works effectually and productively on independent assignments with minimal supervision
• Must possess the ability to effectively communicate with all levels of management
• Excellent time-management, communication, technical writing, presentation development, facilitation, and organizational skills required
• A dependable team player with business maturity, enthusiasm, and a positive attitude
Qualifications
• Strong interpersonal, critical thinking, organizational and time management skills
• Minimum 1-2 years' experience in general office setting with clerical or related experience
• Operations or Administrative background preferred
• Comfortable in a fast paced environment
• Able to manage shifting priorities
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Takes direction well, but is not afraid to ask follow up questions as needed
• Takes the initiative and meets performance goals with little supervision
• Must maintain flexibility regarding job assignments, including other departments, locations, and occasional overtime
Job Type: Full-time, Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Experience:
  • Operations: 1-2 years (Preferred)
  • Administrative/clerical: 1-2 years (Preferred)
