  What you'll do...
  • Act as the strategic business partner to the Site General Manager, Assistant General Manager, and Asset Protection to implement effective people practices. 
  • Lead the People Team at the fulfillment center, ensuring an exceptional associate experience. 
  • Develop, communicate, and implement People strategies to support the overall business objectives 
  • Support operations leadership in workforce planning, talent and succession planning discussions, development plans and strategies to build a robust leadership pipeline 
  • Support leadership through change management by ensuring appropriate levels of communication, understanding, support, and follow up are provided; 
  • Lead adoption of new people digital tools—connecting to our tech-powered, people-led mission; 
  • Monitor changes in policies, management guidelines, employment laws and regulations and ensure appropriate levels of communication and change management are implemented 
  • Analyze data and trends to identify opportunities for improvement in turnover, engagement, and compliance processes and programs 
  • Foster a culture of belonging, supporting with regular associate listening sessions and partnering with operations on creation of Facility Engagement Action Plans 
  • Support operations with Associate Open-Door Concerns, ensuring appropriate escalation and support with investigations according to the Walmart Code of Conduct 
  • Responsible for oversight and accurate execution of OSHA logs, Unemployment Claims, Temporary Assignment Documentation, and State Forms Completion 
  • Support the full management candidate hiring experience, partnering with talent acquisition where appropriate for sourcing and screening candidates, workday requisition management, compensation reviews, and offers 
  • Support operations leadership through any organizational changes through an associate lens, following all applicable policies, processes and procedures required. 
  • Influence strategic business decisions to ensure the business is supported while considering our associates and culture as our number one asset.

The annual salary range for this position is $84,000.00 - $126,000.00 Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include :

Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field and 2 years' HR Generalist experience (e.g., payroll, workers compensation, benefits) with at least one year supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees; managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees OR 1 year's experience as a Walmart Logistics Human Resources Area Manager or Walmart Human Resources Office Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of associates, including dealing with employment compensation/payroll processing, employee relations, recruiting/staffing, organizational planning, and/or training and development programs OR 3 years' experience supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing employees, managing workload; and participating in the hiring and promotion of employees including one year of experience managing human resource processes (e.g., staffing, payroll, workers compensation, benefits).
