    Job description

    Do you enjoy woodworking and have mad tape measure reading skills? If yes, we have a job for you!
    Join Custom Wood Products as Craftsman/Custom Cabinet Maker. In this role you will assist in the creation of custom wood cabinets following the shop drawings in various stages of the project.
    There is never a dull moment, as each cabinet is custom. Attention to detail, cabinet construction knowledge, professionalism and quick thinking are essential.
    At CWP, you get to work with the best coworkers in the land, work "day shift" hours and stay clean!
    Work Schedule:
    M-F 7am-3:30pm, and must also be available for overtime to work as needed, working until 5:30pm with occasional Saturdays 7am-12pm to help meet project deadlines.
    Job Duties:
    • Operate woodworking machinery and hand tools including but not limited to table saws, drivers, drill presses, shapers, routers, sanders, planers, and other wood-fastening equipment.
    • Ensure products are assembled correctly for safety and purposeful use
    • Read and interpret shop drawings
    • Read and use tape measure
    • Identify multiple species of wood
    • Operate shop computers and software
    • Move cabinets to next phase of construction

    • HS Diploma or equivalent preferred
    • Experience with woodworking/construction projects preferred
    • Experience in manufacturing environment helpful
    • Ability to read/interpret shop drawings and utilize/read tape measure
    • Ability to lift large cabinets with assistance
