Operations Manager - Distribution and Logistics - Jones Stephens

Position Summary

The Operations Manager - Distribution and Logistics supports operational excellence across Jones Stephens and Supply Chain functions by ensuring customer commitments are met, processes are standardized, and continuous improvement initiatives are implemented. This role serves as a key liaison between internal teams, monitors performance, and drives operational readiness for strategic initiatives and business changes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support customer commitments and service excellence through effective operational execution.
  • Prioritize and coordinate operational activities across Jones Stephens and Supply Chain functions.
  • Drive consistency and standardization of processes from inbound through outbound operations, including product and shipment quality.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives that increase efficiency, reduce costs, and improve service levels.
  • Serve as the primary Jones Stephens liaison to facilitate communication and resolve operational issues.
  • Monitor KPIs, analyze trends, identify improvement opportunities, and communicate performance results.
  • Support and coordinate strategic initiatives, special projects, and cross-functional programs.
  • Assist with change management efforts and ensure operational readiness for new processes and programs.
  • Manage customer-specific operational requirements, including vendor portal administration and data accuracy.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify root causes and implement sustainable solutions.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations, or related field; or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in operations, logistics, supply chain, or customer service.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Excellent communication and cross-functional collaboration abilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

Estimated Ranges displayed are Monthly for Salaried roles OR Hourly for all other roles.

This role is Bonus or Incentive Plan eligible.
