Your Opportunity
BDO Canada is seeking a highly motivated Alliance Operations Lead to own the operational excellence of our Microsoft alliance. This individual will be a key contributor to elevating our usage, execution, and management of Microsoft partner programs, tools, processes, reporting requirements, and alliance governance.
Reporting directly to the National Lead of BDO Canada's Microsoft alliance, this role will serve as the operational backbone of one of BDO's most strategic partnerships. The successful candidate will be responsible for driving execution excellence across alliance operations while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, visibility, reporting, and collaboration through automation, analytics, and AI-enabled tools such as Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, and the Power Platform.
This individual will work closely with BDO and Microsoft stakeholders to support alliance growth, enable operational excellence, and ensure effective execution against strategic alliance objectives.
Key Responsibilities
Microsoft Alliance Operations Leadership
Own BDO Digital's Microsoft alliance operations portfolio and serve as the primary subject matter expert across key Microsoft partner programs, tools, processes, incentives, and reporting requirements.
Manage alliance governance, scorecard tracking, business reviews, operational reporting, and performance measurements aligned to alliance objectives.
Develop and maintain operational frameworks supporting account mapping, opportunity management, pipeline tracking, incentive execution, and co-sell motions.
Serve as the primary liaison between BDO, Microsoft stakeholders, and external alliance support resources.
Collaborate with global BDO peers to share operational best practices, lessons learned, and emerging partner ecosystem opportunities.
AI-Powered Operational Transformation
Lead the adoption of Microsoft Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform and other AI-enabled technologies to transform alliance operations.
Identify repetitive, manual, and administrative processes suitable for automation and AI augmentation.
Partner Programs, Incentives & Compliance
Own administration and operational execution of Microsoft Partner Center functions, including referrals, deal registration, co-sell opportunities, partner-led engagements, and alliance reporting.
Drive Partner Admin Link (PAL), CPOR and other client association programs to maximize alliance performance and incentive attainment.
Manage reporting and governance for Microsoft investment programs and incentives, including ECIF, MCI, AMM and other strategic funding motions.
Ensure data accuracy, compliance, and operational readiness across all alliance reporting requirements.
Develop processes and controls that improve alliance visibility, forecasting, and decision making.
Data, Reporting & Business Insights
Build and maintain executive dashboards, scorecards, and operational reporting using Power BI and other analytics platforms.
Leverage AI and analytics to identify trends, risks, opportunities, and improvement areas across alliance performance.
Provide actionable insights to alliance leadership that support strategic decision making and investment prioritization.
Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend improvements to alliance operations, reporting, and execution models.

Experience & Qualifications
Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, Information Systems, Data Analytics, or a related discipline.
5-8+ years of experience in alliance operations, partner management, business operations, program management, project management, or related functions.
Proven experience driving operational excellence through process improvement, automation, and technology adoption.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data-driven decision-making skills.
Exceptional written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
Ability to manage multiple concurrent priorities while maintaining high attention to detail.
Experience influencing stakeholders across multiple teams and leadership levels.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to work independently and drive initiatives from concept to execution.
Preferred
Experience working with Microsoft Partner Center and Microsoft partner programs.
Familiarity with Microsoft incentives and investment programs including ECIF, MCI, BCIF, AMM, and co-sell motions.
Experience with Microsoft Copilot, Microsoft 365 Copilot, Copilot Studio, Power Platform, AI agents, or automation solutions.
Experience building dashboards and analytics solutions using Power BI.
Experience working with Dynamics 365, CRM platforms, Workday, or related enterprise business systems.
Microsoft certifications related to Copilot, AI, Power Platform, Azure, Data & AI, or Business Applications are considered strong assets.
Experience supporting alliance management, strategic partnerships, or large-scale technology ecosystems is highly desirable.
