This is a unique opportunity to be part of the operational engine of our Platform organization, the team responsible for building the technical foundation that powers Aritzia. Unlike Technical Program Manager (TPM) roles focused on line-of-business features, as a Platform TPM you will manage the delivery of capabilities — the cloud infrastructure, developer tools, and data platforms that our engineering teams rely on every day. You will be a force multiplier, professionalizing the “How” of engineering to ensure our builders can move faster, safer, and with greater autonomy. As a Technical Program Manager, you will own the “When” — orchestrating the master schedule, complex dependencies, and the logistics of our hybrid workforce. You will bridge the gap between strategy and execution, ensuring that our foundational initiatives land on time and deliver exponential value to our Solution Delivery teams. With the skills you gain in this role, the opportunities are endless — from a rewarding career in Technology to continued growth and development with Aritzia.**THE ROLE**As the Technical Program Manager, you will:* Manage the integrated department roadmap, ensuring alignment between internal teams and hybrid capacity to prevent bottlenecks before they occur* Partner with Domain Tech Leads to translate high-level architectural intent into actionable, sequenced release plans that align with business deadlines* Manage the “flow of work” across the department by proactively identifying and resolving cross-squad dependencies, managing escalation paths, and ensuring work is “Ready” for engineering execution* Facilitate critical governance forums to ensure the engineering roadmap remains synchronized with Enterprise standards and business priorities* Manage the operational logistics of our vendor workforce, including Statement of Work (SOW) management, onboarding/offboarding, and Quarterly Business Reviews (QBRs) to maximize vendor ROI* Facilitate high-level departmental rituals to drive decision velocity and continuous improvement**THE QUALIFICATIONS**The Technical Program Manager has:* A commitment to learn, apply, champion and enrich Aritzia's Values and Business and People Leadership principles* The skills to collaborate strategically with cross-functional partners in the pursuit of shared business outcomes* Excellent communication skills to translate technical concepts for stakeholders and make decisions under pressure* The ability to set clear objectives and translate high-level strategy into actionable execution plans* A dedication to quality and investing in results and new business opportunities that add value* Proven skills, education, and/or applicable certifications in: + Expert capability in managing complex technical programs using Agile/Kanban methodologies, visualizing flow, and managing dependencies across multiple teams without being a blocker + Strong understanding of SDLC, Cloud Infrastructure, and DevOps concepts to effectively communicate with architects and identify technical risks (i.e., you don't write the code, but you understand the architecture) + Proven experience managing vendor deliverables, tracking burn rates, and coordinating distributed/hybrid teams + Deep expertise in architecting and administering modern work management ecosystems (e.g., Linear, Jira). Ability to design complex automation and enforce data hygiene, while utilizing SQL/APIs to independently validate status and generate flow metrics* A sense of urgency and ability to prioritize important work* An understanding and a passion for the industry in which we operate**THE COMPENSATION**The typical hiring range for this position is $100,000–$150,000 CAD per year. The final agreed upon salary may vary based on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills and experience.
