Job description

Scope of Duties:

  • Facilitate regular House Meetings.
  • Complete all required reports and other documentation as needed.
  • Schedule and coordinate completion and documentation of monthly fire drills and oversee facility cleanliness, facility maintenance and safety compliance.
  • Monitor the use of all agency vehicles and ensure all vehicle preventative maintenance is completed as needed.
  • Ensure proper coverage, inclusive of completing monthly schedules and monitoring overtime of all direct reports.
  • Supervise assigned staff including the completion of performance evaluations and regularly scheduled supervisory sessions.
  • Coordinate and/or facilitate workshops and seminars for clients and staff on relative topics as assigned and conduct on- site training and staff development programs.
  • Provide support to the Director with team building efforts.
  • Develop and assist Director with resource proposals and special projects to aid in the continuation of project services, including submission of funding proposals.
  • Oversee the monitoring of all medication to clients and the documentation in the medication log.
  • Monitor and oversee by completing inventory of all food supplies meal planning and preparation of adequate meals for the clients.
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with funding and regulatory agencies, community resources, including service providers and planning bodies, elected officials, civic and religious associations and maintain compliance with all.
  • Ensure optimum performance of program operations. Recommend and implement techniques to improve productivity, increase efficiencies and manage costs.
  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, participating in professional affiliations.
  • Act as a liaison on behalf of the Director, inclusive of outside meeting attendance as directed.
  • Interact with all clients, staff, and outside contacts with respect and courtesy.
  • Maintain client and staff confidentiality in compliance with administrative policies and procedures.
  • Attend and participate in regularly scheduled staff meetings, supervisory conferences, and training sessions.
