Job description

Job Overview:

XX/Salary: $15hr - $20hr

Requirement/Must Have:

  • 6+ months forklift experience; does not need to be certified.
  • Must complete background check and drug test.
  • Must have reliable transportation.

Responsibilities:

  • Run multiple pieces of equipment, i.e., batching mixers, packaging line, micro hand add weighing, receives ingredients by truck and rail. Manufacture products to ensure that they meet specifications and HACCP requirements. Be knowledgeable and follow FDA rules.
  • Run REPETE batching equipment, packaging and storage of finished product. Be knowledgeable and follow FDA rules.
  • Required training for Food Safety and Safety, maintain daily housekeeping.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • This position is in the food ingredients and bio-industrial business, where we anticipate trends around taste, nutrition and safety to innovate and provide solutions to manufacturers, retailers and foodservice companies.
  • Process monitoring and control.
  • Product sampling analysis.
  • Troubleshooting and coordinate maintenance of process equipment and instrumentation.
  • Procedures, policies and practices adherence and development. Permit completion and coordination.
  • Assist in assuring efficiency of operation of equipment, quality of product, and safety of all personnel.
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment.
  • Other duties as assigned. May also be known as Control Room Operator.

Nice to Have:

  • At least 6+ months feed production experience preferred.
  • Background in mechanics and maintenance helpful.

Skills:

  • Basic computer skills.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Education or Equivalent.
  • Forklift experience.
