Job description

Job Summary:
Berkadia is a leader in the commercial real estate (CRE) industry, seeking a Product & Operations Performance Analyst to enhance operational performance transparency. This role involves managing business performance data, collaborating with the Business Intelligence team, and ensuring accurate reporting for leadership decision-making.
Responsibilities:
• Master business performance data (organizational + application performance), including drivers, definitions, and limitations.
• Own the day‑to‑day BI partnership and serve as the translation layer between Innovation leadership needs and BI execution.
• Translate reporting requirements into executable plans (scope, dependencies, sequencing) and deliver alongside BI.
• Build, maintain, and continuously improve reporting outputs (dashboards, drilldowns, executive views) and ensure they remain accurate, consistent, and decision‑usable.
• Maintain reporting outputs + proactively surface insights (trends, anomalies, implications) without waiting for requests.
• Partner with peers and leaders to translate performance data into comms‑ready, leadership‑usable outputs and operational pulse inputs (key narratives, themes, and implications).
• Identify opportunities to improve reporting efficiency through automation and repeatable processes (templates, standard definitions, reusable components).
• Support recurring operating rhythms (e.g. Town Halls, quarterly reviews, newsletter) by ensuring data accuracy, validating input, and outputs are delivered on time.
• Communicate clearly with stakeholders; set expectations on deliverables, timing, and inputs/decisions required to proceed.
• Build strong relationships across Innovation and partner teams; operate effectively in ambiguity and drive work to closure.

Qualifications:
Required:
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 3+ years’ experience in business analytics, program operations, reporting, or adjacent roles (or equivalent capability).
• Proficiency with data/reporting tools (e.g., Power BI) and comfort working with datasets and metrics logic.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to translate ambiguous asks into clear requirements and deliverables.
• Demonstrated operational discipline: planning, follow‑through, attention to detail, and high-quality output standards.
• Scrum/Agile familiarity required.
• Experience with software delivery operations (e.g., delivery reporting, milestone tracking, backlog hygiene, release visibility, delivery metrics).
Preferred:
• Experience partnering with a BI/analytics team to deliver reporting solutions end‑to‑end.
• Exposure to automation tooling (e.g., Power Automate) and improving reporting workflows.
• Demonstrated ability to interpret data, identify meaningful insights, and frame implications for non-technical audiences.
• Experience working in a matrixed or enterprise environment with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
• Familiarity with continuous improvement (identifying inefficiencies, standardizing repeatable motions, driving incremental operational improvements).
