Receiving Supervisor (Bilingual) - Elgin, IL
$60,000 - $70,000/Annually
We are seeking a dependable and motivated Receiving Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Shipping & Receiving department. This role is responsible for ensuring all incoming products are accurately received, properly stored, and maintained within our warehouse and ERP system. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is committed to operational excellence, inventory accuracy, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the receiving, inspection, and inventory of all incoming materials in both the warehouse and ERP system
  • Supervise, train, and mentor receiving associates on company procedures, inventory control, and logistics operations
  • Develop and maintain FIFO (First In, First Out) inventory practices
  • Receive shipments from vendors and carriers including UPS and FedEx
  • Reconcile invoices, investigate discrepancies, and ensure accurate documentation
  • Coordinate and schedule inbound deliveries and outbound freight shipments
  • Prepare shipping documentation including Bills of Lading (BOLs), manifests, and related paperwork
  • Perform routine cycle counts and assist with bi-annual physical inventories
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment


Qualifications:

  • 2โ€“3 years of shipping and receiving experience required
  • 1โ€“2 years of leadership or management experience preferred
  • Experience working with ERP systems
  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining professionalism
  • Team-oriented mindset with a strong commitment to customer service and operational success
  • Reliable, dependable, and detail-oriented
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred
