Overall Job Function:

The Farm Services & Operations Manager oversees the Farm Service Repair team and assists the organization in the managing of the Hog Store, ordering and repairs of existing hog facilities, as well as designing and estimating new hog buildings.    

Essential Job Functions:

Manage Farm Service Team’s activities.

Manage the Hog Store and products.

Assists in the design and estimate of new hog barns and equipment needs of customers in a timely manner.

Assists in the design renovations on existing hog barns.

Order Hog Store items from various approved vendors and maintain vendor relationships.

Assists with Marketing of the Hog service team and products.

Continually investigating new products and places to purchase products more efficiently.

Weekly team meetings with Hog Service Team.

Other duties as assigned.

Work Requirements: 

This position is based in a fast-paced office and retail store setting.  Equipment utilized will be computer, phone, fax, copy machine and other standard office equipment.  Hours will vary based on business and customer scheduling needs.  

While performing job functions the employee will be required to talk and hear most of the time.  The employee will spend frequent intervals moving and sitting, while also needing to reach, bend, twist, crawl, crouch, stoop or kneel.  The employee will need to be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 15 pounds frequently.  The physicality of this job is low.
