As the Senior Manager, Business Systems Analysis - Operational Technology, you will lead the business application layer supporting Irving Oil's operational business teams, ensuring applications, data, and technology capabilities are aligned with business priorities and operational objectives. Your Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of Business Technology professionals responsible for delivering and supporting technology services across Refining, Supply, Planning & Trading, Engineering, Procurement, and Capital Portfolio functions
  • Support organizational change management, stakeholder engagement, communication, and adoption activities to maximize the value and successful implementation of technology solutions
  • Serve as the primary technology partner for business leaders, translating business priorities into technology plans, investments, and solutions
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders to ensure technology services effectively support operational and strategic objectives
  • Oversee the delivery of application and technology services in accordance with enterprise policies, standards, processes, security requirements, compliance requirements, and governance frameworks
  • Ensure effective management of service agreements, vendor relationships, technology risks, cybersecurity requirements, and service performance
  • Lead technology projects and portfolio delivery, including business requirements gathering, prioritization, resource planning, and value realization
  • Develop, coach, and mentor a high-performing team while leading talent management, succession planning, performance management, and employee development activities

Your Experience:

  • A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Business, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive technology experience, including at least five years leading technology teams and services.
  • Proven experience managing business applications, technology portfolios, and strategic stakeholder relationships.

The expected salary range for this position is $114,943 - $183,909. Placement within the range will be based on relevant experience, qualifications and skills.
