Job Description 

We’re looking for EMS Operations Managers who are excited to lead, coordinate, and optimize ambulance services that make a difference in people’s lives. In this role, you’ll supervise field and dispatch staff, oversee fleet operations and scheduling, and ensure regulatory compliance. You’ll help drive performance, safety, and accountability—delivering efficient, life-saving care across our community.

Key Responsibilities 

  • Supervise and support EMTs, Paramedics, and Dispatch staff 

  • Coordinate staffing and scheduling to ensure continuous 24/7 coverage 

  • Oversee fleet readiness and coordinate vehicle maintenance 

  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal EMS regulations 

  • Collaborate with hospitals, law enforcement, and fire departments 

  • Manage budgets and allocate resources effectively 

  • Respond to service incidents and operational concerns 

  • Support recruitment, training, and performance initiatives 

  • Promote a culture of safety and service excellence 

Collaborative Teamwork 

This role involves working closely with EMS crews, hospital leadership, and community partners to ensure seamless emergency response and coordinated care. As a key leader, you’ll help shape a culture of professionalism, trust, and respect. 

Qualifications 

  • Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field OR minimum 7 years as a Paramedic 

  • 3+ years of EMS or healthcare operations leadership experience 

  • Kern County Paramedic Certification – Required 

  • California State Paramedic License – Required 

  • Strong knowledge of EMS operations, scheduling, and compliance 

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and crisis management skills 

  • Ability to read, write, understand and communicate effectively in the English language 

  • Must be able to put into practice Service Excellence skills with our patients, families, coworkers, and community
