Operations Manager

We are looking for Operations Manager candidates who possess a strong work ethic, a positive attitude and the demonstrated ability to drive change on all levels. This position will be responsible for setting the tone, driving business decisions based on lean principles and modern manufacturing problem solving tools. The Operations Manager is based at our client's 24/7 production facility with ~250 non-union team members. Job summary: This role is a member of the senior staff and operates as the right hand for the Site Manager. With 2 direct and approximately 145 indirect reports, the Operations Manager is a hands-on opportunity that will continue to move the needle in the right direction through a focus on team member relations, leadership development and creating strong business cases for process improvement Exemplary safety culture and accountability are top priorities while achieving quality, production and financial goals. Continuous improvement education and implementation are core to success in this role. Requirements: Technical or business-related bachelor's degree required 3+ years at a Plant Manager, Assistant Plant Manager or Operations Manager level in a medium to large scale manufacturing setting Must have experience in food or beverage manufacturing Ability to positively influence at all levels Strong desire to be present, involved and interacting with supervisors and team members Use lean principles to drive efficiencies and meet profit goals Experience building and successfully executing strategic plans Compensation Package/Benefits: Salary range $155,000 - $175,000 Relocation package offered Strong career growth potential Insurance coverage effective immediately after hire PTO/Retirement Plan/Paid Holidays
