NOW HIRING: Manager & Supervisor — Fargo Specialty Operations

Data Center Installation Team | Fargo, ND

Join and help launch our new Fargo Specialty Operations team, supporting critical data center installations. Build and lead a team that lives up to our workforce commitment: a positive, supportive culture where people are valued and their work matters.

PEPMOVE (Precision Equipment Placement) is a successful and growing specialty logistics company with operations in 11 cities across the U.S., and a new location opening in Fargo. We specialize in moving and installing large, heavy, and unusual equipment — including copiers, medical equipment, servers, electronics, and other oversized items that require specialized handling.

In Fargo, our team will support the mission-critical installation of server racks within a data center facility, with plans to grow into additional product lines from there. We're seeking two leaders — a Manager and a Supervisor — to lead a staff of motivated, professional, dependable, and team-oriented people and help build our Abilene office. No prior server or data center experience is required; we provide paid training.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Lead teams of 710 employees onsite at the data center, overseeing the unloading of highvalue server racks from arriving trucks, uncrating, and moving servers to assigned locations using our specialty equipment. Starts as a single 510person team, growing into multiple onsite teams supported by a supervisor.
  • Serve as a working, handson manager while onsite.
  • Coordinate with the onsite client and offsite operations team to meet all schedules and delivery requirements.
  • Ensure teams are well trained and consistently follow our processes and procedures without exception; become an expert through our training program.
  • Ensure teams work safely and responsibly to avoid injuries, property damage, and loss of materials or equipment.
  • Schedule teams daily to meet delivery and relocation requirements; handle routine HR and administrative support for the team.
  • Hire and develop new employees, serving as the point person for delivering on our workforce commitment to a positive, supportive culture.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and conduct while delivering excellent customer service.
  • Schedule: 40+ hours per week, Monday–Friday, with some occasional weekend work.

    What We Offer
  • Steady hourly or salaried position
  • A positive work culture that cares about and supports your efforts — meaningful work in an environment where you and your contributions are valued
  • Quarterly and annual bonuses
  • Health insurance — company pays approximately 75% of the employee plan
  • Dental and vision insurance at low cost
  • Paid time off (PTO)
  • Paid holidays
  • 401(k) with company matching
  • EAP — a free Employee Assistance Program
  • Compensation: $25–$30/hour (or salaried), plus quarterly and annual bonuses

    Job Requirements
  • 3+ years of warehouse management or similar experience
  • Experience managing a team of 1025+ employees
  • A high level of motivation and pride in your work, strong work ethic, and a commitment to leading by example
  • Ability to frequently kneel, bend, squat, push, pull, and stand for long periods; ability to safely lift and carry up to 50 pounds. The role largely involves working with a team to move and control heavy server racks rather than lifting equipment solo, but candidates must be physically capable of supporting the team throughout the work shift.
  • A flexible schedule — generally normal business hours, with some flexibility for weekend work; expect a mix of shorter and longer days matched to delivery requirements
  • Valid driver's license with Real ID
  • Good MVR (driving record) and reliable transportation
  • Ability to pass a background check — no felonies, per client restrictions
  • Ability to pass a standard company drug screen at time of employment
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills
