("LDI") is an SBA Certified 8(a) Native Hawaiian Owned (NHO) Small Disadvantaged Business (SDB). Lawelawe Defense offers an outstanding record of delivery on various projects encompassing: Program and Portfolio Management; Systems Engineering and Architecture; Network Engineering and Operations; Data Center Optimization and Operations; and Desktop/Server and Application Virtualization. Summary The Operations Manager will plan and oversee the daily operations of the organization to ensure goals and objectives are achieved.Essential Functions
  • Plans and organizes daily activities related to production and operations.
  • Measures productivity by analyzing performance data, financial data, and activity reports.
  • Coordinates with other support departments such as human resources, finance, and logistics to ensure successful production operations.
  • Determines labor needs to meet production goals.
  • Assists with budget preparation for operations unit.
  • Assists with, or prepares and updates, organization’s operations manual and policies.
  • Performs other related duties as required.

Work Environment
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.Position Type/Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position. Typical days and hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and may require overtime occasionally.  Evening and weekend hours required, as required by business need. Position is remote.
 
Travel
Travel is expected to be less than 25% of the time for this position. Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or related field required; M.B.A. preferred.
  • Certification through the Institute of Certified Professional Managers (ICPM) preferred.
  • Ten years of related experience required.
