• Conduct thorough assessments and screenings to evaluate clients’ substance use histories and co-occurring mental health conditions.
• Develop individualized treatment plans by integrating diverse therapeutic modalities tailored to address addiction challenges and underlying psychological issues.
• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure a holistic approach to client care, sharing insights and strategies to improve outcomes.
• Provide psychoeducation to clients’ families, fostering their understanding and involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous client records and documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will primarily work with individuals facing substance abuse challenges, many of whom may also experience concurrent mental health disorders. This diverse client population will require you to adapt your therapeutic strategies to meet varying needs, promote resilience, and facilitate a safe space for recovery.

• A valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).
• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.
• Strong foundation in addiction counseling principles and practices.
• Proven ability to implement evidence-based practices effectively in treatment scenarios.

• At least one year of post-licensure experience in a mental health or substance abuse treatment setting.
• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with telehealth systems and digital communication tools.
