This position offers the flexibility of a remote work setting through our telehealth platform, ensuring that you can deliver care from the comfort of your home while maintaining a healthy work-life balance. While working remotely, you will remain an integral part of a multidisciplinary team committed to addiction recovery, collaborating with other health professionals through secure digital communication channels.

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and screenings to analyze clients’ substance use histories and mental health statuses.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that effectively address both addiction issues and any co-occurring mental health disorders.
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, with an emphasis on techniques like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Motivational Interviewing.
• Collaborate with fellow team members including psychiatrists, case managers, and peer support specialists to provide integrated care for clients.
• Create educational materials and hold sessions for clients’ families to enhance their involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain meticulous records and documentation to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and to track the progress of clients.

The clients you will work with vary widely, encompassing individuals struck by addiction ranging from alcohol and prescription drug dependencies to illicit substances. Many of our clients also face co-occurring mental health disorders, such as anxiety and depression. Your expertise and empathy will play a vital role in motivating these clients and guiding them towards health and recovery.

• A valid license as an LCSW, LPCC, LMFT, or PsyD.
• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.
• Completion of specialized training or a solid foundation in addiction counseling methodologies.
• Extensive knowledge of evidence-based practices specifically for substance abuse and dual diagnosis treatment.
• Exceptional therapeutic skills and the ability to inspire and motivate clients toward positive changes.
• Strong verbal and written communication abilities, with a particular focus on collaboration and teamwork.

A minimum of one year of relevant professional experience in mental health counseling and addiction treatment is required. Experience developing and implementing therapeutic programs or interventions is highly desirable. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and digital communication tools will be beneficial, enhancing your ability to connect with clients effectively.

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to 100,000, depending on your experience and qualifications.
