Job description

We are seeking an experienced, results-driven Senior Spa Manager to lead our Chandler location while also providing leadership support to two additional Spa Managers in the Valley. Chandler will remain your home spa and primary responsibility. In addition, you will dedicate approximately one day each week to working alongside the managers of two nearby locationsโ€”helping them strengthen performance, develop their teams, solve challenges, and execute company initiatives. This is an excellent opportunity for a successful Spa Manager who is ready to expand their influence, develop other leaders, and take the next step toward multi-unit leadership.

Key Responsibilities Chandler Spa Leadership
  • Take full ownership of the day-to-day operations and overall performance of the Chandler spa
  • Lead the spa toward its revenue, membership, service, retail, staffing, and profitability goals
  • Recruit, hire, train, coach, and retain a high-performing team
  • Create a positive, accountable workplace where employees feel supported and understand what is expected
  • Maintain appropriate staffing levels across the front desk, massage, and esthetics departments
  • Monitor schedules, payroll, labor, service capacity, and other controllable expenses
  • Ensure consistent execution of company policies, operating standards, and brand expectations
  • Maintain a clean, professional, welcoming, and service-focused environment
  • Address employee concerns, performance issues, and guest escalations promptly and professionally
  • Build strong relationships with members and guests while supporting excellent service recovery
  • Partner with company leadership and department directors to execute operational priorities
Valley Leadership Support
  • Dedicate approximately one day per week to supporting two additional Spa Managers in the Valley
  • Conduct regular spa visits, leadership check-ins, and performance reviews with assigned managers
  • Help managers understand their business, prioritize opportunities, and create clear action plans
  • Review key performance indicators, including revenue, membership growth, conversion, attrition, prebooking, upgrades, retail, gift cards, and labor
  • Coach managers on recruiting, team development, accountability, communication, and operational execution
  • Provide follow-up and ensure agreed-upon action items are completed
  • Help identify risks early and partner with leadership to resolve staffing or performance concerns
  • Support company rollouts, training initiatives, contests, and special projects
  • Serve as a positive example of our company values and leadership expectations
  • Provide temporary additional support when a location is experiencing a transition or urgent operational need
What Weโ€™re Looking For
  • Previous success managing a spa, salon, hospitality, retail, fitness, or membership-based business
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve sales, membership, labor, staffing, and operational goals
  • Experience recruiting, coaching, and developing employees and emerging leaders
  • Strong understanding of financial and operational performance
  • Ability to balance ownership of a home location with broader leadership responsibilities
  • Highly organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
  • Clear and confident communicator who can provide both support and accountability
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Willingness to travel locally between assigned Valley locations
  • Availability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs, including some evenings and weekends
  • Experience with Hand & Stone or another membership-based wellness brand is preferred but not required
Our Ideal Senior Manager

Our ideal candidate is someone who can produce strong results without losing sight of the people behind them. You know how to set clear expectations, follow up consistently, and hold others accountable while maintaining trust and engagement. You are comfortable stepping into challenges, making decisions, and helping other managers become more confident and capable. Most importantly, you understand that supporting another location does not mean taking it overโ€”it means developing the manager so they can successfully lead it.
