Provides a Four Diamond and more service and spa operation. Directs and coordinates the development and accomplishment of spa productivity, guest satisfaction, membership sales and activity, team member satisfaction and financial goals.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
  • Oversee the budget, sales, expenses, staffing, marketing as relates to all areas of responsibility
  • Responsible for cash flow, revenues and expenses as relates to the spa and fitness center and spa membership activities
  • Responsible for hiring, scheduling, termination and disciplinary actions as relates to team member
  • Responsible for team member training, development and evaluation to ensure the highest of professional and work ethics in the Ocean Spa and Fitness Center
  • Ensure all staff maintains required licenses and certifications as required by law
  • Develop and maintain contact with outside vendors, community leaders, local organizations and incoming groups and individual guest in order to maintain and promote the Ocean Spa and Fitness Center
  • Ensure all membership sales are handled in a professional manner, observing all local, state and federal regulations
  • Assist team members in dealing with demanding guest situations when necessary to ensure guest satisfaction and follow up while maintaining the integrity of the spa and fitness center
  • Attend all training sessions and meetings as required

Supportive Functions and Responsibilities
  • Perform special projects or other responsibilities as assigned.
  • Promotes and applies team work skills at all times.
  • Exceeding guest expectations with exceptional levels of service
  • Is polite, friendly, and helpful to all guests, management, and fellow team members
  • Execute emergency procedures in accordance with hotel and Loews Standards
  • Complies with required safety regulations and procedures
  • Complies with Hotel standards, policies and rules
  • Recycles and conserves energy whenever possible
  • Remains current with hotel information and changes
  • Complies with hotel uniform and grooming standards
  • Participate in task forces and committees as requested

Qualifications
Required:
  • Able to promote and maintain a professional working environment at all times
  • Able to attend in conformance with all Loews Standards
  • Thorough knowledge of hotel spa operations
  • General knowledge of all hotel departments
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Effective leadership, organizational and management skills
  • Ablity to excel in a fast pace environment
  • Ability to multi task
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, to include Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, to make decisions without supervision and to prioritize tasks in order to meet appropriate deadlines
  • Ability to converse professionally with upset guests, supervisors and team members during tense situations
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule to include nights, weekends and holidays
