Job description

The Pharmacy Operations Manager is responsible for the daily operational management of the hospital pharmacy department, ensuring the safe, effective, and efficient delivery of pharmaceutical services across the organization. This position provides direct oversight of pharmacy operations, personnel, medication distribution systems, regulatory compliance, inventory management, and operational quality initiatives while supporting clinical pharmacy services and organizational strategic goals. This leader is responsible for collaborating with physicians, nursing leadership, other ancillary departments, and executive leaders to ensure exceptional patient care, medication safety, fiscal stewardship, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
Qualifications:
Education: BS Pharmacy or PharmD
Licenses/Registrations: Current registration in the State of Massachusetts
Experience: Two (2) years of demonstrated process improvement activity required; demonstrated computer skills are essential. Minimum of Two (2) years of formal experience in pharmacy leadership preferred.
