Job description

TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® in Warwick, RI is looking for an energetic Operations Manager to provide leadership to the operations team and moving crews, and assist in the daily operational aspects of the business. In this role you will work with customers, vendors, and all staff members to meet established business goals and standards. This is accomplished primarily through: training and motivating franchise employees; controlling costs; managing daily franchise operations; and consistently exceeding customer expectations.
What You’ll Do
  • Lead and motivate teams by setting the standard for performance, communication, and professionalism
  • Interview, hire, onboard, and train movers and drivers
  • Oversee daily operations including scheduling, dispatch, and recordkeeping
  • Coach team members, manage performance, and handle corrective action when needed
  • Ensure excellent customer service and oversee damage resolution
  • Manage fleet maintenance, equipment inventory, and warehouse/storage operations
  • Promote safety and ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA regulations (including ELDs)
  • Conduct safety checks to ensure jobs meet TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® standards
  • Partner with the General Manager on sales growth, operations, and community brand presence
Who We’re Looking For
  • Motivated, organized leader with strong decision-making skills
  • High school diploma or GED required (some college preferred)
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record
  • Willing to obtain a DOT physical and Fed Med Card
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Availability Monday–Friday and every other Saturday
