LHH is seeking an Operations Manager for a Direct Hire, Permanent Placement position with an advanced manufacturing technology client located near Bloomington, Indiana. This is a unique opportunity to join a rapidly growing organization that is scaling innovative product development and commercialization efforts across multiple markets. In this role, you will work directly with executive leadership to build operational infrastructure, implement scalable business processes, leverage AI-driven automation, and help position the organization for significant future growth. The compensation is commensurate to experience and will range between $110,000-150,000 per year and includes comprehensive benefit and insurance plans, generous Paid Time Off, and a 401K plan with a company match.

Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employer sponsorship.*** JOB RESPONSIBILITIES • Build and scale operational systems, infrastructure, and workflows from the ground up
• Develop and implement SOPs across operational and administrative functions
• Establish KPI dashboards, reporting structures, and performance measurement tools
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency and scalability
• Identify automation opportunities using AI tools and emerging technologies
• Improve procurement, planning, and operational workflows through technology solutions
• Coordinate supply chain activities including materials, logistics, and inventory processes
• Support pricing discussions, contract execution, and operational business agreements
• Manage operational alignment with external manufacturing and fulfillment partners
• Collaborate with leadership on growth strategies and organizational development
• Assist with scaling operations to support increasing customer demand
• Evaluate and implement technology platforms that improve business performance
• Support hiring, onboarding, and workforce growth initiatives
• Lead cross-functional projects involving operations, supply chain, and commercialization
• Travel as needed to support operational initiatives and business expansion activities
QUALIFICATIONS •
Bachelor Degree in Business, Operations Management, Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field is preferred •
Minimum of 7+ years of operations management experience within manufacturing facilities is required •
Must have the ability to build operational infrastructure, systems, and processes from the ground up •
Must have experience with process improvement, workflow optimization, and system implementation initiatives • Ideal candidates will have experience with AI tools, automation technologies, and operational digitization
• Ideal candidates will have experience supporting supply chain, logistics, or production coordination activities
• Ideal candidates will have experience working within startup, scale-up, or high-growth environments
• Ability to thrive in entrepreneurial, fast-paced, and rapidly evolving environments required
